What is KEAM?
The commissioner of entrance examination(CEE) in Kerala introduced the KEAM examination for admission procedure in undergraduate courses like Engineering and Pharmacy. Some self financed colleges in Kerala accepted the KEAM score for their admission procedure. Now, medical admission in Kerala is also based on NEET score.
Who can write KEAM?
CEE has detailed eligibility criteria for KEAM based engineering and pharmacy programs.
Nationality: Indian students are eligible for KEAM and must be categorized as Keralite or non-Keralite(NK I and NK II)
Age : Candidates should have completed 17 years as on 31st December of that particular year.
Qualifications
KEAM 2021
Application procedures will be starting on 1st week of Feb 2021 and which ends on last of Feb 2021. candidates can correct their mistakes on application form on 1st week of April 2021.Upcoming exam on 3rd week of April 2021.
Exam Pattern
KEAM is an offline exam has two papers, Paper 1 is physics and chemistry and Paper 2 is mathematics for engineering admission. Students who want to study B. Pharm will have to write Paper-1 of the engineering exam.
Total number of 240 Objective type questions(120 each paper) are there for KEAM with a total of 960 marks in 150 minutes. Every right answer has 4 marks and -1 marks for every wrong answer.
